Abstract: The notion of contra continuous functions was introduced by Dontchev. In this paper we apply the notion of Ω* - open sets in topological space to present and study a new class of functions called almost contra-Ω*gα-continuous functions as a new generalization of contra continuity. Furthermore, we obtain basic properties and preservation theorems of almost contra-Ω*gα- continuity and investigate the relationship between almost contra-Ω*gα-continuity and Ω*gα-regular graph
